Congratulations to Josh Williams from Shepparton who not only turned 21 over the Bathurst weekend, but was announced as the Tradingpost Racing Recruit and will join the Ford Performance Racing garage in 2012 to complete his final year mechanic apprenticeship!
Josh was among a tonne of entries received from all over Australia who entered when they heard that Will Davison and the Tradingpost Racing team were on the search to give a young mechanic apprentice the ultimate start to their career - to work with the Tradingpost Racing team in 2012; finish their final apprenticeship in style; learn from the best in the business and at the peak of Australian motor sport and experience all of the V8 Supercars action both on and off the track! Not a bad way to finish your apprenticeship and launch your career!
Javelin Australia has been there from day one when the national competition was announced and have helped to generate widespread national media exposure for this competition, which was a first for V8 Supercars.
