From 14 – 23 January, Javelin strapped on its boot scooting best and headed to Tamworth to manage PR for the iconic 2011 Tamworth Country Music Festival.
The festival also hosts the culmination of Telstra's year long nationwide search for the best new country music talent - the Telstra Road for Tamworth - for which Javelin also manages PR.
While a little weary from the week's festivities, we are pleased and proud to be returning home with another successful year under our belts of securing positive national media coverage for Telstra’s sponsorship of the festival, the final of the Telstra Road to Tamworth Finals and the announcement of the winners.
Throughout the festival itself, Javelin generated on behalf of Telstra 103 media items with a total audience reach of 2.48million people. This brings the total coverage for Telstra Road To Tamworth for the year to 614 media items with an audience reach of 16.04 million people.
