Javelin has had a little more success than the Australian team during the Ashes with the Telstra Cricket Clinics making an strong impact on regional parts of Australia.
Telstra cricket ambassador Mark Waugh has led the charge with the former Australian test batsman taking a particular interest in the development of young cricketers throughout country Australia.
“You never know what talent you will find on the cricket pitches and at the cricket nets throughout regional Australia,” Waugh said.
In addition to providing juniors with expert coaching tips with Mark, the clinics are delivering messages around staying active, making healthy eating choices and playing sport with mates.
