NRL - Telstra Grand Final Kids

It's been a busy September for the Javelin Australia team, managing the public relations for Telstra around two of the largest sporting spectacles in Australia - the NRL and AFL Grand Finals.
One highlight centred on 17 lucky young footballers from the Rockhampton Brothers Under 11s, who won a national competition to present the NRL Grand Final Premiership Rings to the winning team - the Manly Sea Eagles.
The Rocky Brothers spent the week leading up to the NRL Grand Final in Sydney, with Javelin Australia ensuring that the team received plenty of media attention at events such as the One Community Awards, the traditional NRL Grand Final breakfast and an exclusive one-on-one training session with NRL legend and Telstra ambassador, Nathan Hindmarsh.
Media secured included interviews on 2GB with Ray Hadley, Sky News, Fox Sports and Channel Nine.
The Brothers also led both NRL Grand Final teams onto the stage to be presented to their fans at the traditional fan day and look who happened to drop into the country just in time to meet the team and cheer on his Manly boys as they prepared for battle against the Warriors - none other than international movie star, Hugh Jackman!
