NAB Dance the Dream 2011 Workshops

The Javelin Australia team has been dancing up a storm this month; touring Australia with Lynette Wills and Steven Heathcote, former Principal Artists of The Australian Ballet, as part of the 2011 NAB Dance the Dream program.
The crew visited Adelaide, Perth, Seven Hills (Western Sydney), Bendigo and the Gold Coast bringing ballet off the stage and into many local communities.
Over 250 lucky young dance students experienced a full day workshop experience followed by an exclusive Q&A session with Lynette and Steven to find out what it's like to live the life of a professional dancer.
Coverage for the program has been seen in various media outlets throughout the country including The West Australian, The Courier Mail, The Daily Telegraph, The Herald Sun, Sunday Mail, Seven News Adelaide, The Bendigo Advertiser in addition to various local and regional print publications.
The final stage of the program will see ten winning NAB Dance the Dream workshop participants receive the once in a lifetime opportunity to be flown to Sydney and take a sneak peak behind the scenes of Grahame Murphy's Romeo and Juliet at the Opera House in December - a dance dream come true!
